Hey,
I'm Zeyad.
Just a 31 year old kid trying to live curiously. I’m driven by a simple belief: most people are capable of far more than they realize, and I want to help them see it.
I’ve built a few things and failed at a bunch more. At 13, I was selling snacks and fireworks to friends and cousins. Short-lived, but solid business. At 16, I organized soccer tournaments both real matches and video game brackets. Not for profit, just for the joy of creating. At 18, I tried throwing private events in LA. Wild idea. Didn’t go far. At 22, I gave Airbnb a shot. Made some profit, but couldn’t scale it the way I hoped. Still learning. Still building. Still curious.
I also got my bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from California State University, Long Beach. Later, I earned my master’s degree in real estate from Harvard University. Then I became a certified Project Management Professional through the Project Management Institute.
I co-founded and lead Mazia Real Estate Development and Investment. It’s my life’s work. We develop real estate, and I genuinely love what I do. There’s something powerful about turning empty land into homes, buildings, or spaces people actually use. I’m hooked on the process. The design. The planning. The execution. Every part of it.
Lately, I’ve been quietly building something new. A business I’ve been working on for a little over a year. Can’t share the details yet, but it’s in the beauty space. Very different from real estate, but just as creative. Stay tuned.
One day soon, I want to quit the grind and work no more than 4 hours a day. I wasn’t put on this earth to hustle until 60 years old and then start living. That’s not the plan. I’ll build the right teams, delegate everything, and protect my time. Four focused hours a day, that’s the goal. The rest is for actually living and enjoying life!
I build in public (and sometimes in private). Which is just a fancy way of saying I share bits of the journey on my Instagram, hoping it inspires someone out there to take more chances, try new things, and bet on themselves. It’s not always pretty, but it’s real.
Just making the things I wish I had when I started my journey. I’m 31 now, but my early 20s looked a little different.
There you go. A few stories and many more to come.
Every now and then I write about them, the good stuff and the taboo stuff that nobody really talks about. Drop your email if you wanna know the next time I do.
PS. if you wanna reach me, drop an email to zeyad@zeyadalmajed.com, I usually respond if there’s a clear ask and less than 500 characters.
PPS. Yep this page was 100% inspired by Farza’s. Had to.
